​Dr. Ahmed Aljarro (Al-Jarro) holds a B.Eng. and Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering with High-Performance Computing from the University of Nottingham, UK.

In 2021, he joined Saudi Aramco R&DC as a Lead Scientist, and currently holds the position of Research Science Specialist within the KAUST R&DC Division at the Aramco Research Center (ARC) at KAUST. He served in multiple leading Research and Development rolls, with more than 20 years of experience, working at various industrial sectors, academic research institutions, and cross-functional teams and organizations. This includes the University of Nottingham, KAUST, University College London, and Fujitsu Labs of Europe, London, UK.

Dr. Aljarro specializes in the emerging tech of IR4.0, Smart Sensing, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. He is an author and inventor of several publications and patents, and the recipient of several corporate and international awards, locally and globally. He is particularly inspired by building and executing state-of-the-art technologies, strategies, and roadmaps; giving rise to intelligent sensing and digitalization.
